Germany: Flexible housing provider Habyt will open its debut project in Leipzig this December, taking the group’s European presence to 20 cities.

Located in the Zentrum-Nord district, the Leipzig Habyt development will offer 185 fully-furnished units across 75 apartments, including private studios and shared coliving residences.

Amenities include a rooftop terrace, a courtyard and outdoor lounge, and a community area where residents can work and socialise.

The five-storey, 6,200 square-metre project has been created in partnership with FAY Projects GmbH, which also developed the adjacent Radisson hotel.

Patrick Breuer, expansion lead for Germany at Habyt, said: “We are thrilled to introduce Habyt’s flexible living solutions to Leipzig. With our diverse offering of homes (studios and private apartments), co-Living (shared accommodation) and flex (short-term, flexible stays), we cater to the needs of today’s mobile and professional lifestyle. This new development is part of our ongoing global expansion, and we look forward to welcoming residents into this exciting new space in Leipzig.”

The Leipzig site is expected to welcome residents in December 2024 and marks the seventh German city for Habyt.

It follows a market entry in Brussels and a new development in Madrid for the group. Habyt’s European portfolio now encompasses more than 20,000 units in 20 cities.
