US: Michele Halpin has been appointed GM of the first Q&A apart-hotel which will open in Manhattan in spring 2015.
The property, the first Q&A branded property, is located in the 70 Pine building in Manhattan’s Financial District.
Halpin began her hospitality career in 2003 and has held leadership roles with Hilton, Intercontinental and Marriott.
“I am thrilled at the opportunity to introduce and manage Q&A in Lower Manhattan. With the recent influx of companies to the Financial District, there is a need for extended stay hotel options. Q&A could not be launching at a better time,” she said.
Steve Brown, CEO of Furnished Quarters, said: “Michele is a seasoned hospitality executive who has launched and managed many successful properties. I look forward to her contributions as we introduce this exciting new residential hotel concept.”
