UK: Housed in a historic listed building in Paisley town centre near Glasgow, the luxury Hazlitt Apartments have opened.
Originally an open plan department store built in 1908 at 27 Causeyside Street, the site has recently been converted into an 18-unit, pet-friendly aparthotel.
Apartments range from studio to two-bedroom suites and come with fully equipped kitchens, widescreen televisions, a dining area, king-size beds and twin rooms. Turndown and laundry service can be requested if required.
Reception is manned during normal business hours and arrangements can be made to leave keys in a lock box to allow access out of hours too.
The apartments are fully accessible by lift and a private car park is also available on site.
Ian Henderson, The Hazlitt Apartments owner, said: “This project has been in the pipeline for over 10 years and we’re delighted to welcome guests to experience this fantastic aparthotel.
“The building is steeped in history and our location is perfect for both business travellers seeking proximity to the town, leisure guests, those visiting universities in the area, and tourists visiting Scotland’s largest town for its rich cultural offering,” he added.
The Hazlitt Apartments are available for travellers at no minimum length of stay.
