UK: Serviced apartment provider House of Fisher has introduced a series of sustainability initiatives across its portfolio.

Across its apartments, House of Fisher has launched a new range of toiletries made from recycled plastic and which are fully recyclable. The products contain no parabens, CDEA (a foaming agent) nor artificial colours, and are not tested on animals. The soaps are also 100 per cent pure vegetable oil.

In the reception area of the group’s 100 Kings Road property, a community board has been installed, displaying local recommendations on events, attractions, restaurants and more. The team plans to add donation schemes, discounts and offers in the future.

The communal area lights at 100 Kings Road are also set to be replaced with LED lights to reduce energy consumption. The switch has already been made at City Wall House and Central House.

At Central House, Central Gate and Beneficial House, recycling facilities have been expanded. As a company, House of Fisher participates in the Reading BID recycling schemes which sees the team contribute to weekly cardboard recycling and monthly small electrical appliance recycling.

Every month, House of Fisher also holds Green Team meetings to discuss ideas, charity events, and other initiatives that can be rolled out across its properties.
