US: Hyatt’s upper-midscale extended stay brand Hyatt Studios is expected to debut in 2025 with a property in Mobile, Alabama.
Hyatt Studios launched in April 2023. At the time, letters of interest for more than 100 properties had been signed by multiple developers.
The brand, which will consist of new build projects, will launch its first property Hyatt Studios Mobile / Tillmans Corner in spring next year. The hotel has been developed by 3H Group Inc.
It will feature 122 studio apartments with kitchens and a lounge area, a gym, self-service laundry, and a 24/7 market with a breakfast counter in the lobby. It is currently accepting reservations for stays from 7 May 2025 and beyond.
Dan Hansen, global head of Hyatt Studios, previously said: “The Hyatt Studios brand is positioned to transform the upper-midscale, extended-stay experience for our guests and World of Hyatt members by delivering exceptional value, best-in-class amenities and the highest level of care. The continued interest from the development community reaffirms the Hyatt Studios brand’s compelling value proposition.”
A Hyatt Studios in Portland, Maine, is also slated to open in 2025. Giri Hotel Management will develop the 122-room property at Portland International Jetport.
Hyatt Studios will join Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Caption by Hyatt in the group’s select services category.
