US: Flexible accommodation operator Kasa Living has opened its latest property in Downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
Located in the Charlotte Street area at 42 Furman Avenue, the 16-unit Kasa Downtown Asheville occupies a former boarding house known as Sabel Apartments.
Rooms come equipped with a kitchenette and can cater to leisure and corporate travellers offering both short-term and extended stays.
Each tech-enabled apartment offers self check-in at 4pm, 24/7 guest support by text, phone, or chat, and a Virtual Front Desk accessed via mobile device.
Roman Pedan, Kasa’s CEO and founder, said: “Our foray into Asheville represents more than just expansion; it’s a commitment to intelligent growth and delivering real value to our investors. As we explore new horizons, our focus remains on bringing our unique blend of comfort, style, and profitability to untapped markets.”
In November 2023, Kasa closed a $70 million Series C round. The company has previously raised $50 million in funding in October 2020, including $30 million in Series B funding and $20 million in Series A funding.
Kasa partners with institutional real estate owners, turning single-family, multifamily, and hotel properties into flexible rentals.
