US: Tech-enabled flexible accommodation brand Kasa Living is due to open its latest site on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles this December 2023.
Located at 5825 Sunset Boulevard, the 12-storey building was originally developed as a hotel and converted to an all-studio aparthotel in 2005.
The current owner appointed Kasa to provide a shorter-term rental strategy for the apartments. It is expected to welcome its first guests this December following a renovation.
Kasa Sunset Los Angeles will provide services including online check-in, a virtual front desk, and smart locks. Every unit features a full kitchen, private bathroom, and custom designed furniture.
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Los Angeles and introduce Kasa Sunset Los Angeles to travellers seeking a unique and comfortable stay,” said Roman Pedan, founder and CEO of Kasa. “This partnership has enabled us to bring the highest level of service and innovation to this prime location on Sunset Boulevard.”
Earlier this year, Kasa expanded its operations into single-family rentals. At the time, Pedan described the move as “an extension of our core value proposition, which is to unlock the power of liveable space”.
Founded in San Francisco in 2016 by Pedan, the company partners with real estate owners to transform units at multifamily and hospitality properties into professionally managed accommodations.
