Lamington Group appoints board of directors

UK: Development and investment company Lamington Group has appointed two new members to its board of directors.

Lamington Group’s board of directors features six leaders, including three of the company’s founding members, non-executive director Robert Ryan, alongside two new additions: Ufi Ibrahim and Merzak Kaddour.

Ibrahim is CEO of the Energy & Environment Alliance which promotes sustainable hospitality investment. She previously served as CEO of the British Hospitality Association and COO of the World Travel & Tourism Council, and joins Lamington as a non-executive director. 

Kaddour was one of the co-founders of the Locke aparthotel brand and served as investment director at its parent company edyn. He brings more than 20 years of investment and development experience to Lamington as a non-executive director.

Ryan has served on Lamington’s board since 2021 and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with more than two decades of experience. He previously held roles at Whitbread and Travelodge.

Earlier this year, the group revealed the opening of room2 York in 2026 and received planning permission to develop room2 Manchester.
