Greece/Portugal: Operator Líbere Hospitality Group (LHG) has signed two properties, including its debut in Greece along with expansion in Portugal.

LHG has acquired a property in Piraeus, Athens, which will feature 32 units. It marks the team’s entry into the Greek market. The group has also acquired its second property in Porto, located in Vila Nova de Gaia.

With the addition of the two assets, it takes LHG’s European portfolio to 36 properties.

Over the next three years, the team aims to multiply its revenue by six and reach a turnover of €100 million by 2026. The UK and France have been identified by LHG as target markets for expansion.

Antón de la Rica, co-CEO of Líbere Hospitality Group, said: “Our entry into markets like the UK and France marks another step in our evolution. Both countries represent a challenge and an opportunity to replicate the success we’ve achieved in other European markets. These countries are not only world-renowned tourist destinations but also offer an ideal economic and cultural setting for expanding our business model, which is rooted in modernity, flexibility, and comfort.

“We are focused on establishing partnerships with property owners and SOCIMIs who share our ambition to transform the alternative accommodations sector. At LHG, we are committed to offering accommodations that meet the expectations of international travellers, combining innovative design with a focus on sustainability and service excellence,” he added.
