Hungary: Tech-enabled apartment operator limehome has opened 45 apartments in Budapest, marking the brand’s debut in Hungary.
Located near Budapest’s International East Railway Station in a newly constructed building, all 45 apartments include a kitchen and either have a balcony, terrace or roof terrace.
The apartments vary in size between one and three bedrooms. When limehome announced the signing 10 months ago, it was reported that the rooms would be divided between 15 long-stay and 30 short-stay units.
The project is in partnership with B&L Group. It’s the first time limehome and B&L have partnered.
Matthias J. Maas, head of expansion at limehome, said: “Its rich cultural and music scene, the picturesque banks of the Danube and its famous thermal baths make Budapest one of the most attractive cities for tourists in Central Europe. That’s why the city was a high priority in our expansion strategy. Our digital operating concept is high-yield and efficient. Especially in top tourist destinations like Budapest, we see great potential for limehome.”
The apartments are available with immediate effect.
limehome currently has more than 4,500 apartments under contract across 215 locations, including Hungary, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. The company aims to enter other new markets this year.
