France: Lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke is set to open its seventeenth property, Le Jardin de Verre, in Paris this winter.
Le Jardin de Verre by Locke is located on the Rue de Lacépède in the city’s historic Latin Quarter, found in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The property sits close to the Panthéon, Jardin des Plantes and Sorbonne University.
Housed in a 20th-century industrial factory and 18th century Parisian residence, a modern building was also added to the site. London and LA-based interior architecture and design studio Fettle worked on the project.
The aparthotel features 145 rooms across 11 different categories, including two signature suites – the Begonia Suite and the Penthouse Suite. Some rooms come with a balcony or terrace, and a family suite comprises two interconnecting studios.
The design for the guest rooms, created by edyn’s in-house design team, reflects the styles of the three eras of the building.
Amenities include an on-site gym and yoga studio, a coffee shop, boardroom for meetings and events, an open internal courtyard for al fresco dining, a destination restaurant in the atrium with a bar and terrace, and dedicated cocktail bar.
Earlier this summer, Locke opened its biggest project to date in Lisbon. A 236-unit aparthotel in Copenhagen, Karsten Locke, is also in the pipeline.
