US: Residence Inn by Marriott Stamford Downtown has appointed three executives to lead the city’s first extended stay hotel.
The team includes area general manager Todd Lindvall, director of sales and marketing Tina Mazzullo, and assistant general manager Jason Coppola.
Lindvall’s leadership at Residence Inn Stamford Downtown is backed by 30 years of experience. Lindvall has worked for Marriott for most of his career in hospitality, with 18 years spent in the Stamford area. He has been integral in coordinating hotel development plans with ownership, UC Funds, and management, Urgo Hotels & Resorts, to prepare Residence Inn by Marriott Stamford Downtown for debut. In addition to his stewardship over the hotel, Lindvall oversees the neighbouring Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Downtown, a role he has held since 2001.
Mazzullo brings almost a decade of hospitality experience to her new post with Residence Inn Stamford Downtown. She began her career as a guest service agent in hotel industry and quickly grew into operations and sales management role. Most recently, Mazzullo served as a general manager with Dream Hotel Group.
Coppola has served as front office manager at the sister property Courtyard Stamford Downtown since 2016, working alongside Lindvall. Prior to his new role, Coppola’s career in hospitality began in Stamford with the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa and took him to nearby cities including White Plains and Rye, New York, working for a range of Marriott-branded hotels.
