Marriott opens brace of California extended stay hotels

US: Marriott has opened a Residence Inn and a Springhill Suites in California, adding 212 units to its extended stay portfolio in the state.

The 108-suite Residence Inn by Marriott hotel in La Quinta is owned by LQ Hospitality Group and managed by Sunridge Hotel Group. Situated in the Coachella Valley, the hotel offers easy access to more than 30 golf courses, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Joshua Tree National Park, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center – Twentynine Palms.

The hotel features a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, a putting green, a full-service bar open for dinner, a patio with a grilling area, free high-speed internet, a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, guest laundry and 525 square feet of meeting space.

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad is owned and managed by DKN Hotels. The 104-suite hotel features a rooftop lounge with ocean views and fire pits. Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a complimentary breakfast, business services, complimentary Wi-Fi, and two meeting rooms with a combined 1,156 square-feet of functional space.

Located in Carlsbad Village, the hotel is within walking distance of the area’s shopping, dining and entertainment options and near Camp Pendleton, Legoland California, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, The Crossings at Carlsbad, the Carlsbad Premium Outlets and downtown San Diego.
