US: Furnished Quarters has announced the appointment of Catherine Meenan as vice president of sales.
Meenan has 30 years of corporate sales experience. Her successful tenure includes the roles of VP of regional sales, North America at British Airways and VP of national accounts at Etihad Airways. In these positions she led sales teams of as many as 30 direct reports, drove new business, retained and grew revenue exceeding as much as $500 million, and established strategic partnerships with industry peers.
In her new role she will report to Victoria Yanakos, EVP of sales, working closely to develop and lead the Furnished Quarters sales team and manage some of the company’s largest client relationships.
“Catherine’s propensity for leadership, growth and capitalising on goals will be a major asset as our company continues to expand all over the globe,” said Yanakos. “I’m personally excited to be working with such a strong leader and talented salesperson as my partner in mentoring the Furnished Quarters sales team.”
