Method Co. set to open Michigan aparthotel

USA: Hospitality management and development company Method Co., in partnership with real estate developer Bedrock, is opening the ROOST Book Tower in Detroit, Michigan later this spring.

ROOST Apartment Hotel is a boutique extended-stay hotel concept conceptualised by company, Method Co. The company aims to blend the comfort and practicality of an apartment with the amenities and design of a boutique hotel.

ROOST Book Tower, located in the Book Tower development in Detroit, will feature 117 furnished apartments for both short- and long-term stays. The place will also have multiple food and beverage venues including a French restaurant, Japanese izakaya concept and sake bar, lobby-level bar and cafe, a skylit ballroom, and a rooftop bar. 

New York-based architecture firm ODA is leading the renovation and interior design of Book Tower. Morris Adjmi Architects, which has designed all ROOST properties before, is designing custom furniture for the new apartments.

Method Co., owns and operates multiple hospitality businesses such as ROOST Apartment Hotel, Whyle Fully Furnished Short-Term Apartments, Wm. Mulherin’s Sons Restaurant and Hotel, and HIROKI Omakase Restaurant. 

The company has recently opened The Pinch luxury boutique hotel in Charleston and The Quoin boutique hotel in Delaware.
