Mission Hill promotes Wilbert to SMD and head of acquisitions

US: Mission Hill Hospitality, a select service and extended-stay hotel investor, has promoted Mike Wilbert to senior managing director and head of acquisitions.

Wilbert joined Mission Hill as managing director when the firm launched in 2021. Since then, the company has grown to include 33 properties within its portfolio, located across 16 states in North America and valued at $1 billion.

Prior to Mission Hill, Wilbert served as senior vice president at Tishman Hotels. Additional experience includes VP acquisitions and dispositions for Apple Hospitality REIT. He started his career in corporate finance with HEI Hotels & Resorts.

Recent additions to the Mission Hill portfolio include the Residence Inn in Breckenridge, Colorado, and the AC by Marriott and Courtyard in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
