China: More Residences has opened its latest serviced apartment building in Beijing’s Zhongguancun neighbourhood.

More Residences is owned by the Warburg Pincus-backed Shanghai company Mofang Gongyu. It has residences in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

The Zhongguancun building is located 10 minutes away from central Zhongguancun and a three minute walk from Weigongcun subway station. It features 73 units, ranging in size from 33 square metres upwards. Each unit has a toaster, coffee machine, washing machine, under-the-sink water purifiers, cutlery, and more.

The company says its apartments are “more than a dwelling place, It’s where you belong, It’s where you linger in the details, where reality exceeds your expectations, It’s the place you won’t want to leave, because you found home”.

The building’s lobby is staffed around the clock and will also soon be home to a coffee shop. More also has a list of chargeable services such as car rental, moving, laundry, house cleaning, fitness, yoga, water, and electricity, as well as a number of free services, including printing, pre-ordering travel tickets, postal service, and space for parties.</p
