US: National Corporate Housing has appointed Irina Keen as global account manager to spearhead the company’s development in the UK.

Keen will “liaise with the company’s existing client database, generating awareness and driving demand for National Corporate Housing by targeting UK-based corporate decision makers”.

As the company’s first UK-based employee, Keen joins after a four year period at SACO, where she held positions including assistant manager and overseas partner manager, before leaving the company as a global supply manager.

The appointment comes as National Corporate Housing rolls out in the UK, following demand from existing US clients for extended stay temporary accommodation, for employees on corporate assignments and international programmes.

Tom Atchison, chief executive officer at National Corporate Housing, said: “Irina brings with her a wealth of experience and an in-depth understanding of the UK serviced apartment industry. We are delighted to have her at the helm of the business’s development in the UK, with a view to building a hand-picked on the ground team that can deliver the same superior levels of service that we have become known for.”

Keen said: “I am delighted to join National Corporate Housing at what is a highly exciting time for the business. There is a real opportunity for high quality, cost-effective accommodation in the UK – with a focus on service and flexibility when it comes to client requirements. National Corporate Housing is an exemplar brand in the US and I look forward to bringing this across the pond into a new market.”</p
