UK: A new aparthotel in Bristol’s Clifton neighbourhood is offering a contactless guest experience and expects to be two-thirds full for the first quarter of this year.
The former student accommodation building has undergone a £1.6 million redevelopment creating 34 studio apartments and a coworking space.
Bristol born brothers and co-founders of operator Your Apartment, Charlie and Toby Guest acquired the lease of the property back in October 2020. For the first quarter of 2021, Your Apartment is forecasting 65 per cent occupancy across all of its dwellings, including the new Your Apartment – Clifton Village.
Toby Guest said: “The last few months have been incredibly intense. Whilst battling with the current climate and restrictions, were pleased to be able to bring Your Apartment – Clifton Village to the Bristol accommodation market. This has been our largest project to date with a goal of expanding our presence nationwide over the next five years”.
“If the pandemic has proven anything, it is the strength and resilience of the serviced apartment sector in Bristol. Unlike many traditional hotels which have had to remain closed or close due to lack of demand, we’ve evolved our business model to further innovate and expand introducing Your Apartment – Clifton Village,” he added.
The 20 to 30 square metre studio apartments are aimed at professionals who are working away Monday-to-Friday on business assignments in the city, with leisure guests anticipated to provide demand at weekends.
Your Apartment now has more than 150 serviced apartments in Bristol.
