NexGen Hotels acquires Fairfield Inn & Suites in Fort Lauderdale

US: Development and management company NexGen Hotels has bought the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Fort Lauderdale Northwest.

Located on the Colony Golf Course, the 120-room hotel will be managed by Hollywood-based AD1 Global. 

Catering to leisure and corporate travellers, the hotel features rooms with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffeemaker, and a 55” flat-screen TV.

Amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness centre, and complimentary buffet breakfast.

Chris Patel, president of NexGen Hotels, said: “The Fort Lauderdale area remains a key area for us, and we feel that the Fairfield Inn brand is a good fit for this area as well as our portfolio.”

Founded in 2007, NexGen Hotels has built a portfolio of properties throughout the Midwest, Florida and California under brands such as Marriott, Hilton, InterContinental, and Best Western.

The company also owns and manages several restaurants, assisted living facilities, and retail centres.
