France: Tech-enabled apartment operator NUMA Group will launch its first property in France, located in Paris next year.

Housed in a former hotel situated between the Canal Saint-Martin and the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the site is currently being upgraded to include NUMA’s proprietary technologies. This includes check in/out, opening room doors, and communicating with the NUMA team – all from a guest’s smartphone.

Following the Paris launch in 2024, NUMA will have presence across 10 European countries including 27 cities with more than 4,500 units.

Tanguy Lormier, expansion manager at NUMA Group: “We are delighted to launch NUMA’s successful concept in France with our first property in the cosmopolitan city of Paris. France attracts the largest volume of tourists in the world and Paris is the most popular destination in Europe. The French capital is a perfect fit for NUMA and is the ideal starting point for our expansion into the high-potential French market.”

Dimitri Chandogin, president of NUMA Group, said: “As the European leader in fully digitised boutique apartments, we are excited to enter the French market and well prepared to expand our portfolio in Paris. In the long term, we plan to be present in twelve French cities. We are actively looking at suitable properties in prime locations in Bordeaux, Cannes, Lille, Marseille and Nice, for example. We are not only establishing a completely new generation of accommodation for modern travellers, we are going to innovate the entire industry in France as we do so.”
