India: Oakwood has signed a strategic partnership with Sensation Group to operate properties in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
The agreement covers Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Hyderabad and Sensation Apartments Bangalore, Managed by Oakwood, which is the pilot property for a new soft brand, with more projects in the pipeline.
Oakwood currently manages four properties in India with a fifth property slated to open in the first quarter of 2024. The addition of Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Hyderabad and Sensation Apartments Bangalore, Managed by Oakwood, will increase the group’s portfolio within India to seven properties by the end of 2024.

Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Hyderabad is in close proximity to the NSL Arena and the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Scheduled for completion by June 2024, the property will comprise 350 rooms and serviced apartments, ranging from 38 to 90 square metres. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness centre and a dining concept.
Sensation Apartments Bangalore, Managed by Oakwood is a 1,200-unit property that is set to open in the last quarter of 2024. Located in the Sadahalli Village in Bangalore North, Devanahalli, the property is within a 20-minute drive from the Kempe Gowda International Airport in Bangalore with key landmarks in the vicinity, such as the Club Cabana Amusement Park, Jade Garden as well as Prestige Tech Cloud, a business and technology campus.
The property will offer meeting rooms and coworking spaces, a dining room as well as recreational facilities such as a fitness centre and play area for children. Laundrette facilities will be available on all levels.
