USA: Developer Onni Group has opened a Level branded extended-stay hotel at 200 N. Long Beach Boulevard in California.
The latest property in the Level Hotels and Furnished Suites portfolio is located in a new mixed-use development called the East Village complex. The site was once called the Broadway Block, which will now be a 23-storey, high-rise building facing 3rd Street to the north, and a seven-storey, podium-type building facing Broadway to the south.
Onni Group broke ground on the Broadway Block in late 2019. The Level’s 32 units range from 709 to 1,118 square feet and are a combination of one and two-bedroom suites. Amenities include a gym, an outdoor pool, pet runs, and gym facilities.
The East Village complex offers 400 apartments with rents ranging from under $2,900 to $15,000 a month. It also provides 23,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, located above a two-level, 501-car subterranean parking garage.
A Long Beach historic landmark called the Acres of Books Building is planned to reopen at the centre of the complex as a 9,300 square-foot food hall.
Onni Group has other Level properties in Southern California, such as Hope + Flower in South Park, Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles, and Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood.
