Vancouver: Operto Guest Technologies, an industry leader of Smart Stay technology and smart devices for the serviced apartment, hotel and short-term rental industries, has announced it has appointed Steven Davis as its new CEO.
He will take the reins of the fast-growing, global SaaS business that is aiming to be the best-in-class operating system for property managers across the full spectrum of accommodations. Operto connects guests and teams to meaningful technology and has proven to dramatically enhance and simplify the guest experience.
Davis joins Operto from Slalom Capital, where he was the CEO and founder.
He started his formal career at Apple in South Africa back in 2006 and has since worked in a variety of senior leadership roles across multiple technology companies, both in London, UK, and Vancouver, BC. Davis’ deep experience in technology sales and product marketing, coupled with first-hand experience / involvement in product design, development, launch and customer support, make him a natural leadership fit for Operto, at this exciting phase of the company’s growth.

Davis replaces co-founder and former CEO, Michael Driedger, who led the company from its inception to becoming a global hospitality technology provider.
