UK: Plans have been submitted for an historic building to be converted into a luxury aparthotel in Edinburgh.

Submitted by Sundial Properties and Destiny Scotland the plans show a change of use for the B-listed property to an aparthotel.

Located on George IV bridge, the building which is currently office space, has been cited to be developed into short stay apartments.

The nine apartments would include seven one-bed apartments and two two-bed apartments across the first and second floors. The plans also feature a roof terrace.

The ground floor is a restaurant which is separate from the development and will not be part of the proposed changes.

Edinburgh recently unveiled its St James Quarter, mixed use development which will feature a 75-key Roomzzz aparthotel.
