AUS: The Ascott Limited, Australia has opened its latest Quest aparthotel, located in the billion-dollar Woolooware Bay Town Centre development in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.
The 71-key Quest Woolooware Bay was first revealed in 2020. It forms part of precinct which includes a shopping centre, waterfront parklands, a pedestrian/cycle path, outdoor fitness zones, and a children’s playground.
All apartments at the Quest property feature a balcony and range from studio to three-bedroom units. Amenities include a garden terrace overlooking Woolooware Bay, conference facilities, a business lounge, a gym and more.
James Shields, Ascott Australia’s GM growth and capital strategy, said: “Quest Woolooware Bay fills a gap in the local market for amenity rich, comfortable and flexible accommodation. Ascott identified key opportunities in the local market including VFR, allied health, b2b and construction which have all historically relied on short stay rental offerings. Ascott’s latest property stands in prime position to service this demand.
“Quest choose development partners that share our values, prioritising quality over quantity to ensure our growth is sustainable. Our focus is on building lasting relationships and working together to deliver the best outcomes for Quest business owners and guests,” he added.
Adrian Liaw, CEO and executive director of Novm, the developer of Woolooware Bay, said: “Woolooware Bay has always had the vision of being a destination where people could live, work and play. By having Quest Woolooware Bay, Novm looks forward to it also being a place people can “stay” with the tourism component of the project now coming to life. With the stadium and Bay Central shopping centre just below, and Cronulla only minutes away, everything is within reach for guests.”
