Europe: Hospitality company Radisson Hotel Group has revealed plans for the group’s expansion in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, including the opening of several serviced apartment projects.

In 2024, Radisson Serviced Apartments Krakow will launch in Poland. Alongside the Radisson RED Krakow, the properties will form part of the Unity Centre business complex.

Following this, Radisson Resort & Suites Ustronie Morskie is scheduled to open on the Baltic coast in 2025.

Over in Cyprus, 1,200 residential and serviced apartments will open in phases from 2026 as part of Radisson Residences Limassol. The project is being developed by Emerland Real Estate and will feature studios, two-bedroom apartments and penthouses alongside an all-day dining restaurant and bar, a café, outdoor pool and fitness room.

The openings form part of a wider strategy to launch more than 10 properties by 2025.

“We have seen exceptional growth potential in Eastern and Southeast European where we are present with eight brands ranging from midscale to luxury,” said Elie Younes, executive vice president and global chief development officer at Radisson Hotel Group.

“Our portfolio in the region has grown to 85 hotels in operation and under development with 16,600 rooms – an increase in room count of 25 per cent over the past two years alone, which speaks to the great potential in this highly dynamic and attractive region spanning city hotels as well as resorts.”
