Radisson to include serviced apartments in new Saudi resorts

KSA: The Radisson Hotel Group has announced three new properties in Riyadh, with a broad mix of accommodation.

The new properties are the Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Itlalat and Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Shalalah. The Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Itlalat will have 135 rooms and villas available for both short and extended stays. The Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Shalalah will have 120 serviced apartments and villas available for guests. Both are predicted to be open in Q2 of 2023.

The new hotels will offer an array of amenities, such as all day dining at both hotels. The Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Itlalat will also feature a la carte dining, outdoor swimming pools, designated children’s areas, and other leisure facilities. The Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Itlalat will also include 4,056 square metres of conference and meeting spaces to enhance its ability to host business events.

This expansion is a part of a larger movement by Radisson Hotel Group to build a strong presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Radisson currently operates more than 45 facilities that are either operational or under construction in the Kingdom, and the pandemic has not slowed their growth.

Radisson has targeted Riyadh, the Kingdom’s capital city, as a location for expansion due to the city’s growth. Riyadh strives to become a business capital of the world, and many companies with headquarters in Riyadh support this vision. Additionally, the city is also expanding as a tourist destination by adding attractions of all kinds to draw visitors. The city also plans to execute numerous projects to upgrade the city in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan. Radisson hopes to contribute to the Vision 2030 plan and economic diversification of the city with these new hotels.

Radisson will partner with Al Haqbani Holding and Al Khair Capital Saudi Arabia, both based in Riyadh, for these new projects.
