Red Roof opens HomeTowne Studios in Tampa

US: Upscale economy hotel chain Red Roof has opened a new build and prototype, the HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Tampa – Airport.

Owned by Vijay Patel, CEO of Dhruv Development, the HomeTowne Studios property is the first to showcase the new prototype that was introduced in 2021. 

It offers 124 extended-stay suites with kitchenettes that feature a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, stove top, sink, and dining space. 

Amenities include a business centre, a gym, laundry facilities, complimentary coffee in the lobby, weekly housekeeping, and more. 

Alongside the Tampa opening, Red Roof has launched another new build property – the 86-room Red Roof PLUS+ Jamaica, following an investment of more than £20 million. The site is owned by Steven Mendel of RiverBrook Hospitality.
