Malaysia: Developer Mitraland Group will launch its serviced apartment residential tower, The Riva Residences, this October.

The Riva Residences represent the final phase of Gravit8 – a flagship development project for Mitraland located in Kota Bayuemas, Klang. In total, Gravit8 features six residential towers built around a lake, and is described as offering a “blend of urban living, leisure, working, and entertainment”.

Mitraland group chairman Datuk Johan Ariffin said: “Mitraland has invested a total of RM11 million in the placemaking of Lakepark. We had the option to leave the lake untouched, but we took the initiative to engage the local council in placemaking.”

Currently open for registration, Riva Residences will offer 616 serviced apartment units across five layouts, ranging from 551 square feet to 1,497 square feet. Facilities include a multifunction room, multipurpose game court, indoor and outdoor gyms, a lap pool, a water slide, jacuzzi, a chess garden, a glass house, coworking spaces, and a library.

The gross development value of the residential tower is projected at RM 356 million.

According to the Gravit8 website, five of the other towers – The Tresor, Ashino Residences, Nordica Residences, Andaman Residences and Adria Residences – are either 99 per cent or 100 per cent sold.
