Italy: Luxury hospitality group Rocco Forte Hotels has opened Rocco Forte House Milan, comprising 11 apartments housed in a 19th century palazzo.
Designed by Olga Polizzi, Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, Rocco Forte House Milan is housed within a refurbished 19th century palazzo on the corner of Via della Spiga in the Quadrilatero della Moda.
The apartments have been named after four areas within the centre of Milan: Brera, Duomo, Isola, and Tortona. Each apartment offers a sitting room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchens, all facing onto a traditional Milanese courtyard.
Amenities include a sub-level gym, complimentary city bikes, and a fifth-floor rooftop which will open in 2025.

The residences embody the true sense of Milan through the architecture and design, which is a complete mix of old and new. The magnificent building is classical 19th century, yet we have used contemporary elements throughout, keeping the building’s past alive through the frescos and fireplace features.”
