UK: Roomzzz Aparthotel has opened a 64-room apart-hotel in Chester.
The property is a £5.5 million conversion of an office building, and is the first to open under the company’s New Generation concept.
Roomzzz says the New Generation brand features bold and bright interiors, and uses the local culture of each hotel, such as sayings and landmarks, as part of its design.
Roomzzz Aparthotel Chester City joins the company’s properties in Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester which have all undergone £2 million refurbishments to bring them in line with the brand’s new look.
Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz Aparthotel, said: “The aparthotel model is not the same as a hotel. Roomzzz guests are typically professionals and international guests looking for a longer term stay than a hotel can reasonably offer. Roomzzz New Generation is based on our knowledge, experience and research into customer decisions when booking/re-booking accommodation.”
“We want to make Roomzzz instantly recognisable so that guests always know when they are staying at one of our apart-hotels. The new generation will strengthen the brand so our ‘ZZZs’ are synonymous with quality, comfort and, most importantly, a good night’s sleep,” added Walton.
The company is expected to open the second new look property in Nottingham next month.
