UK: Plans have been submitted by PKL Investments to convert a former fireworks factory in Derby in to serviced apartments.
If the application is successful, the property at 11 Mill Street will be converted and extended in to eight two-bedroom apartments which will be operated by “an established serviced apartment provider”.
A planning statement prepared by Gaskell on behalf of applicant PKL Investments said the plans “play an economic role by providing jobs though the construction and occupation of the proposed development. The addition of serviced apartments allows for some of the larger employees within the city to provide additional staff accommodation as and when required.”
The application is being considered by Derby City Council.</p
