UK: Liverpool based serviced apartment and hotel company Signature Living has has announced record profits of £5.8 million in the year to 1 April 2016.
The figure is a 262 per cent increase on the previous year’s £1.6 million.
Founded by Lawrence and Katie Kenwright in 2008, the company owns four hotels in Liverpool and has properties in Preston, Belfast and Cardiff in the pipeline. In September last year it was granted planning permission for a 39-unit aparthotel in the vacant One Arthouse Square building in the St Peter’s section of Liverpool’s Ropewalks neighbourhood.
Signature Living Group chairman Lawrence Kenwright said: “This is a phenomenal set of results, with all of our hotels, restaurants and bars making a strong contribution. Signature Living has experienced remarkable growth, and our investors, stakeholders and hard-working employees are delighted with the results. Over the next 12 months, our focus is firmly on the expansion of our hotel portfolio. We will seek every opportunity to increase profitable turnover even further than our projected £20 million.”</p
