US: Work will begin on a new stayApt Suites aparthotel in Champaign, Illinois next month.
In September stayAPT Suites, announced it would roll out a four storey prototype in California and Carolina. The company also announced it would expand its footprint to 22 states across the US as it cemented several franchise partnerships in California, Arizona and Missouri.
StayApt Suites Champaign will offer 76 apartment-style rooms and is aimed at business traveller looking for longer stays.
The Champaign property will be one of the first stayApt Suites in Illinois for the company, which is based in North Carolina,
The chain aims to have 30 aparthotels open in the US by the end of 2023, with another 40 developments in the pipeline.
