Staycity relinquishes lease on Manchester property

UK: Dublin-based aparthotel operator Staycity Group has has relinquished the lease on its property in Laystall Street, Manchester, with immediate effect.

SAN understands the 84-unit property will shortly reopen under the management of a new operator.

Staycity says its on-going strategy is to “roll out purpose-built properties that are geared towards delivering an exceptional guest experience”.

The company’s property at Manchester Piccadilly opened last year and new properties are planned for Manchester’s Northern Quarter and St Peter’s Square, both of which will have more than 200 units.
