UK: Aparthotel operator Staycity Group has opened its fourth Wilde property in London, located close to Liverpool Street Station.

Owned by Glenwell Group, the two-year project involved the conversion and extension of an existing building, with Staycity managing the front of house fit-out.

The aparthotel offers 106 rooms across 11 categories, including six accessible rooms. On the ground floor, communal space includes a bar, coffee shop, and a self-service shop.

Kelly Morgan, managing director of Wilde Aparthotels, said: “We are very excited to open in Liverpool Street and to unveil the new direction for Wilde, which takes its design cues from the locality and the history of the East End. Our stunning artworks, and around 70 per cent of our food and drink, are sourced from the best of local suppliers and artists, who we’re keen to support and celebrate.

“The location of Wilde London Liverpool Street, in the heart of this popular, vibrant area, is perfect for both leisure and business travellers, offering fantastic access to travel hubs, places to visit and lively bars and restaurants. Sunday’s are a particular feature here, with a busy market crammed with fashion and textile stalls and street food vendors. We look forward to welcoming guests from around the world as well as anyone popping in for a drink or a bite to eat,” she added.

Morgan joined Staycity Group from Ennismore in May 2024.

Wilde London Liverpool Street joins other Wilde properties in the city, including Aldgate, Covent Garden and Paddington. In July this year, Staycity acquired a site in Battersea for its Wilde brand.
