India: Serviced accommodation manager Synergy Global Housing has appointed Masood Ahmed as the company’s business development and supply chain manager in APAC.
Ahmed’s appointment follows record breaking growth in India this year for Synergy, where he will be based. Ahmed will be responsible for developing new client relationships throughout the country whilst collaborating with supply chain partners across Asia-Pacific.
With 25 years of experience in corporate travel, MICE and procurement, Ahmed will work closely alongside Sofia Oragano, senior director of international sales, and Jacqueline Ang, director of supply chain, APAC.
It marks the first time Synergy has both sales and supply chain representation in India.
Oragano said: “Masood’s appointment is a real turning point for Synergy. As we continue to achieve record-breaking growth across India, the creation of this role is a strategic leap towards expanding our capabilities for our clients both domestically and internationally—and ultimately taking the client and guest experience to new heights.”
