US: TownePlace Suites Denver West/Federal Center, a Marriott extended-stay property managed by Spire Hospitality, has appointed Matthew Slater as its general manager.
Before joining Spire, Slater held the role of general manager at Comfort Inn Plano-Dallas, part of Choice Hotels. He has also managed properties under Hilton, Marriott, and IHG.
The 106-room TownePlace Suites Denver West/Federal Center has recently been refurbished. On-site amenities include a convenience store, fitness centre, outdoor pool, and laundry facilities.
According to Marriott’s website, there are 10 TownePlace Suites properties in the Denver area.

The Spire portfolio includes a number of independent resorts and lifestyle hotels, as well as branded properties under Marriott and Hilton.
