US: TownePlace Suites by Marriott has opened its latest extended stay hotel, in Columbus, Ohio.
The 199-key TownePlace Suites Columbus North-OSU is part of the Westmont at The Lane mixed-use development, which will include rental apartments, open market town homes, a 395-space public parking garage, 110-space public parking lot and 32,000 square feet of office, retail and restaurant space.
The hotel is owned by a joint venture between Ohio-based Crawford Hoying, a full-service real estate company, and Shaner Hotels, an international hotel owner, operator and developer. Shaner also operates the property.
