UK: Local developer Urban Creation has converted a Victorian villa in Bristol’s Clifton neighbourhood in to serviced apartments.
Now open for bookings, Beech House features 14 serviced apartments (including studios, one- and two-bedroom units) as well as a pair of two-bedroom houses in a newly constructed mews house behind the main Victorian villa.
The apartments feature high ceilings, bay windows, Juliet balconies and high spec kitchens and bathrooms. The properties are managed by Urban Creation’s own team.
Urban Creation’s Jonathan Brecknell said: “Bristol is a fantastic city with so much to offer, but I’ve thought for a while that there’s not much in the way of really individual high quality serviced apartments so when Beech House came on the market, I couldn’t believe my luck. It’s a classic large Victorian villa, typical of its era, and we’ve tried to bring out the best of its period charm, even re-creating the patterned tiled floor in the hallway, whilst injecting some modern style and a sense of luxury. Our aim is to make the interiors as personal and atmospheric as possible to create a relaxed and supremely comfortable place to stay.”
“The Clifton location is ideal, with so much on its doorstep including its vibrant cultural and entertainment scene, beautiful green spaces, burgeoning foodie offer and glittering harbourside. We’re hoping Beech House will be a welcome addition to the places people can stay when they’re visiting our city, whether they’re here for business or pleasure and somewhere they’ll want to return to again and again. At Beech House, we offer the ‘best bits’ of being in a high quality hotel, such as regular cleaning and support, whilst giving our guests the freedom to enjoy their stay as they wish, whether they want to cook themselves, order in a takeaway or sample the amazing independent restaurants, bars and cafes just down the road.”</p
