AUS: Flexible accommodation operator Urban Rest has launched Urban Rest North Sydney, the group’s third property north of the bridge and its 23rd in the city.
Urban Rest North Sydney is located on the corner of Doohat Avenue and Pacific Highway.
It offers a range of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments, along with a three-bedroom split-level penthouse. All apartments are equipped with work-out kits by Peloton, and guests receive a complimentary 30-day subscription to Peloton’s on-demand workouts.
Additional communal space includes a shared terrace with barbecue facilities, overlooking Sydney Harbour.
“Opening Urban Rest North Sydney was a natural progression for us,” said David Whelan, chief executive officer of Urban Rest. “We’ve observed a significant corporate demand in this vibrant area, and our broad customer base has been vocal about their desire for accommodations in North Sydney. With its prime location and stunning views, [the property] meets the needs of both business and leisure travellers, providing them with a comforting retreat.”
Elsewhere in Australia, bookings are now open for Urban Rest Parramatta, New South Wales. The launches will closely follow openings in Dublin and London for the group.
In early February 2024, Urban Rest also diversified into standalone, self-catering properties. Whelan said at the time: “It was a natural extension to create a product that could cater to groups requiring more space than in a typical apartment, but with the same levels of quality that our clients expect from the Urban Rest brand.”
