Australia: Hotel and aparthotel collection Veriu Group will open its first property in South Australia, located in Adelaide, midway through 2024.
The project will be developed in partnership with Pelligra Group and marks the first office conversion for Veriu. It will see the transformation of over 5,000 square metres of vacant office space into an 111-key aparthotel.
When complete, the property will offer a mix of studios, interconnecting studios, and one-bedroom suites. Each unit will provide a fully equipped kitchen and a desk. Elsewhere on-site, amenities will include a gym and guest laundry.
Veriu Group’s CEO, Zed Sanjana, said: “We see this as a great opportunity to take advantage of a prime site location in a new market for us – Adelaide – where we’ve identified growing demand for quality CBD accommodation. The development follows the recent opening of Punthill-branded properties in Essendon North and Parramatta, as well as the second Veriu property in Melbourne, Veriu Collingwood.
