AUSTRALIA: The Veriu Group has announced Michael Herman as director of development
Australian apartment hotel and micro apartment specialists The Veriu Group has announced the appointment of Michael Herman as director of development for Veriu and Punthill Apartment Hotels.
Herman began his hospitality career in 1997 when he took roles with The Toga Group and TFE Hotels as financial controller and head of IT.
Over the last 24 years Herman has worked at The Veriu Group as commercial manager and executive development manager, where he grew the portfolio from eight properties to more than 80 throughout Australia and New Zealand, as well as Germany, with the Adina Aparthotels and Vibe Hotels, Travelodge and The Collection.
The Veriu Group opened micro apartments in Sydney’s Green Square just before the pandemic began.
