Romania: VISIONAPARTMENTS has acquired the former Ramada Bucharest Majestic Hotel, which will reopen as VISIONAPARTMENTS Bucharest in autumn 2021 after a refurbishment.
The 111-key property is close to Bucharest’s old town, on Calea Victoriei.
VIOSIONAPARTMENTS founder Anja Graf said: “In the past, VISIONAPARTMENTS has always experienced major growth during crisis. And this moment has occurred again; we are confronted with a global pandemic, which does not only present many challenges, it also offers unique opportunities. Therefore, we decided to reinforce our presence in Romania by opening a new VISIONAPARTMENTS Flagship House in the heart of Bucharest.”
The acquisition was completed less than two weeks after the company announced new projects in Basel, Lugano and Zurich Glattbrugg in Switzerland. VISIONAPARTMENTS Basel is scheduled to open its doors on 15. July 2021.
The Bucharest hotel was built in 1920 and features a business centre, and event space with six meeting rooms. These facilities can accommodate up to 300 guests. A gym, a spa area with a pool and jacuzzi as well as a bar and two restaurants are also part of the property.
