US/Canada: Hotel franchising company Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed 60 new properties under its ECHO Suites extended stay brand.
Wyndham’s deal with MasterBUILT Hotels – which has previously developed more than 24 Microtel by Wyndham properties across Canada – takes the ECHO Suites global pipeline to 265 and approximately 33,000 rooms.
Elsewhere in the US, projects are under construction in Virgina, Texas and South Carolina with more than 12 expected to break ground in the coming months.

The purpose-built 124-room ECHO Suites prototype requires less than two acres of land, coming in at approximately 50,000 square-feet with individual rooms averaging 300 square-feet. Room sizes comprise single and queen studio suites with kitchens, along with public spaces such as a lobby, fitness centre and 24/7 guest laundry.
