Bulgaria: Cleves, an owner and operator of serviced apartments in Sofia, has announced that GM Peter Diakov has left the company, and has been succeeded by Bozhidar Zahariev.
Howard Rosen, Cleves partner, said: “Since 2007 Peter has done an excellent job, acquiring our €35 million property portfolio in Sofia, building the Cleves brand and accommodating hundreds of happy customers. After more than a decade, he has decided it is time for a new challenge and we wish Peter all the best for the future.”
Diakov said: “Building Cleves Sofia has been a wonderful experience and I will be sad to leave. But a decade is long enough for my career aspirations and I am now looking forward to a new challenge.”
New GM Zahariev was educated in the USA and previously worked for Tishman, developing the Sofia Airport Centre, and Raiffeisen Bank, in both internal facilities management and SPV asset management roles.
Rosen said: “We are delighted to welcome Bozhidar to the Cleves Team and look forward to his leadership during the next phase for Cleves Sofia.”
Cleves EOOD has developed, owns and operates a residential property portfolio in Sofia with more than 130 apartments in seven buildings. It offers accommodation to multinational companies and embassies on a long-term or short-term rental basis.
