Worldwide: Serviced apartment agent CAP Worldwide has named Lorna Keen as its global sales operations director.

Keen brings more than 20 years of experience to her role at CAP, joining from The Homelike where she served as director of global accounts.

Additional companies Keen has worked for include Q Apartments, Skyline Worldwide Serviced Apartments, BridgeStreet, amongst others.

In her new role with CAP, Keen will report into the company’s CEO Jo Layton and COO Andrew Hopgood, as well as support Laura Rurode (director Americas) and JP Lin (director APAC) alongside the wider senior team.

“I have always been truly passionate about delivering value and insights to my long- standing clients and I am highly committed to driving service excellence in our industry,” said Keen. “Joining the CAPCrew at this pivotal time, and as part of the global matrix is an exciting opportunity for me to showcase my skillset and ensure we always have safe and happy travellers.

“Having worked successfully alongside Jo developing sales, and with so many of this highly proficient and professional team in previous positions, I feel that this is the most natural and exciting next step in my career – I already feel a huge part of the CAP family,” she added.

Layton said: “Lorna brings with her a wealth of industry experience, knowledge and vision. Her proven track record in sales and service delivery for both BridgeStreet Worldwide and more recently, Homelike, adds additional bandwidth to our already highly experienced team.

“Having worked successfully alongside Lorna to develop and drive the original global agent model for nearly 10 years in BridgeStreet, I cannot think of anyone more aligned with our company culture, growth and values than Lorna to join us at this pivotal and exciting time. My respect for her as a professional in our industry for more than 25 years is second to none. Lorna is the final recruit to the CAP Family in 2024 and to the global matrix leadership team, planned as part of our CAP3.0 strategy – which is now firmly in place,” said Layton.

Hopgood added: “Lorna’s knowledge of the various models in our industry, including her experience of platforms, hybrids, agents and operators, ensures that we can continue to develop our online and offline customer journey through our celebrated digital eco-system – CAPTURE and CAPStore – always supported by the most passionate and driven service delivery team in the sector.”
