Germany: Homelike, an online platform for mid- to long-stay accommodation, has ceased operations with immediate effect.

Established in 2015 by Dustin Figge and Christoph Kasper, headquartered in Germany, Homelike targeted business travellers seeking accommodation for stays of 28 days or longer.

Over the last decade, the platform had grown to include more than 70,000 properties across more than 450 cities in seven European countries and the United States.

The company has now issued a discontinuation notice. New bookings via Homelike are no longer available however existing reservations remain valid, with access to information and documents available on the platform until 30 April 2025.

In a statement on its website, Homelike said: “We want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your trust and support in our services over the years. It has been our mission to provide a seamless booking experience for extended stays, and we are grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey. We regret to inform you that Homelike has ceased its operations. While we are no longer facilitating new bookings, please rest assured that all existing bookings remain valid under the agreed terms with your accommodation provider.”

SAN understands that team members at Homelike have either found new roles or are in the middle of the interview process. SAN is waiting for comment from the company.
