Albania: Philipp Plein, fashion designer and CEO of the Plein Group, has signed a multi-year agreement with real estate company X One LLC (S.H.P.K.) to develop a luxury hotel and serviced apartments in Tirana.

X One is developing the Grand Park Skyline, a complex located in the centre of Tirana on Rruga Adem Jashari.

Set within the complex, towers designed by Valerio Olgiati will house a Plein Hotel of at least 150 rooms, 100 Plein Hotel serviced apartments, a lounge venue, Sukaru Ba restaurant, and a Crystal Beach club.

The project is expected to take approximately five years to complete, opening in 2030.

“We are very pleased that the Philipp Plein brand and our hospitality, entertainment and dining formats were chosen for a property so unique within the entire European landscape,” said Plein. “For us, this is a strong recognition of our brand equity, as well as a confirmation of the prestige and notoriety that our brand enjoys amongst an audience of this level.

“We are confident that the collaboration between our team and X One will result in unique spaces and extraordinary atmospheres, elevating the level of service and enhancing the distinction of our brand to new heights in customer relations. I extend my sincere gratitude to my business advisor Carmine Rotondaro, for his exceptional efforts in conceiving, structuring, and negotiating this partnership. His energy and dedication were instrumental in achieving a swift and successful conclusion,” Plein added.

Rotondaro said: “For the Plein Group, this agreement involving such an exceptional property marks another milestone in the growth and development of the Plein brand, as well as its hospitality, entertainment, and restaurant ventures. It is always a privilege to contribute to a high-level collaboration on a property destined to become a landmark for an entire nation and culture. I am confident that this collaboration will produce a scalable and exportable model for other cities and countries around the world.”

Ylli Ujka, CEO of X One, said: “We have made a strategic decision to form this partnership with one of the most exclusive brands on the international stage – recognised for its strength, growth potential, and leadership in the top luxury sector. We believe its style and avant-garde approach align perfectly with our vision.”
